Getting to Baglioni Maldives Luxury All-inclusive
One of the most unforgettable parts of your stay at Baglioni Maldives Luxury All Inclusive is the unique arrival. As this is a truly natural resort in the heart of the Indian ocean, the only way to arrive is via seaplane connection. Here’s all you need to know to plan your journey.
Book Your International Flights
Once you’ve made room reservations at Baglioni Maldives Luxury All Inclusive, you’ll need to book your flights to Velana International Airport, located on Malé Island (flights & transportation are not included). We recommend booking your international flights as soon as possible as flights can be limited.
Please note: All guests traveling to and from the Maldives must submit a self-declarative health declaration within 96 hours of their journey. This declaration can be filled out and submitted electronically via the Maldives Immigration portal (IMUGA): http://imuga.immigration.gov.mv.
Be sure to download the QR code from the IMUGA portal. All travelers must then present their QR code during the Immigration process in Maldives.
These procedures are subject to continuous change, so we advise you to verify the updated requirements on the Maldives Ministry of Tourism website.

Seaplane Connection
Seaplane flights only operate during daylight hours. Therefore, your inbound flight must arrive in the Maldives between 06:00 (6:00 AM) and 15:30 (3:30 PM). Your outbound flight from the Maldives must depart after 08:50 (8:50 AM).
If your international flight arrives after 15:30 (3:30 PM), you may be required to find your own accommodations in Malé or at the airport (at your own expense).

The VIP Coral Lounge at Noovilu Seaplane Terminal is included for all guests, offering Wi-Fi, refreshments, Italian espresso/coffee and showers with towels and amenities.

Seaplane Baggage allowance for each guest:
25 kg (55 lbs.) suitcase + 5 kg (11 lbs.) hand luggage
However, only a small bag (less than 3 kg (6.6 lbs.) will be allowed as a carry-on (trolleys are not considered hand luggage).
Any extra baggage will require a fee that can be paid directly at the resort (the fee is determined by the Trans Maldivian Airlines). It’s important to notify us of extra baggage when sending your international flight details to: reservations.maldives@baglionihotels.com

Upon Your Arrival
After a 45-minute seaplane ride*, you will arrive at our resort on the beautiful island of Maagau in the Dhaalu Atoll, where your GRO and team will greet you warmly.
*Please note that on occasions if you are the only guests traveling to Baglioni Maldives Luxury All Inclusive on the scheduled seaplane, your flight may arrive at the closest island, which is approximately 8 minutes away from the resort. In such a case, your GRO will meet you there, and you will be transferred to the resort by speedboat.
